R&K Associates was founded on January 30,
1993 as a sole proprietorship to provide recruiting services for the Semiconductor
and Personal Computer Industries. While the firm has maintained these
industries as a specialization, it has branched into other technologies
such as Imaging ,Wireless and Displays.
The President of the firm is Karl J. Reichardt
who possesses over nineteen years of Human Resources experience exclusively
in High Technology. Mr. Reichardt earned his Bachelors degree in Business
from the University of Notre Dame and his Masters degree in Labor Relations
from Michigan State University. Mr. Reichardt was the Director of Human Resources
for Acoustic Imaging Technology Corp. from 1990 to 1993, and before
that worked for Motorola Inc. from 1977 to 1990 in Senior Human Resource management
positions primarily in their Semiconductor business.
Mr. Reichardt's experience ranges from process,
design, product/test, software, and packaging positions in the Semiconductor
industry and, hardware and software positions in the Personal Computer
industry. In the case of both industries there have been placements of senior
marketing/sales managers, senior manufacturing managers and other senior
non-technical management positions such as materials management and finance.
